Kiwanis Club of Yorkville Endowed Scholarship

The Kiwanis Club of Yorkville Endowed Scholarship is open to students who are graduates of a public or private high school in the Yorkville School District area or were homeschooled within the United City of Yorkville limits, have a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or a 3.0 GPA on a 5.0 scale. Involvement in community/church service projects, extracurricular activities, volunteer activities, service clubs, etc. will be considered. This scholarship was started in 2020 by the Kiwanis Club of Yorkville Illinois Foundation to assist students at Waubonsee Community College. The Kiwanis Club of Yorkville Illinois Foundation is a 501©(3) non-profit corporation established in 2018 with the mission of completing service projects that improve the quality of life for children and families worldwide, especially for those children and families located in Yorkville and Kendall County, Illinois. Proceeds from our fundraising events are used to support those service projects and fund scholarships that will be awarded to students who have shown a commitment to serving others and their community. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
