Olson Family Endowed Scholarship

The Olson Family Endowed Scholarship is open to students majoring in Cybersecurity or Accounting. Preference will be given to students who reside in Sandwich or Yorkville. Established in 2025 by Waubonsee Community College alumni Brian and Staci Olson, whose family has multi-generational ties to Waubonsee, the Olson Family Endowed Scholarship supports students pursuing studies in Cybersecurity or Accounting. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate technical skill, ethical responsibility, and strong analytical ability, as well as the capacity to think creatively, communicate clearly, and approach complex problems from multiple perspectives. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
