First Gen Fund

Calling all First-Gen College Students!!! Not sure if you are one? This is the definition:

A first-generation college student is someone whose parents or guardians did not complete a four-year college degree in the U.S.

So even if you have other siblings who have completed their 4-year degree, it does not count towards YOU. You are still First-Gen because it is based on your parents’ education level!

So now here is the opportunity:

“First Gen Fund” is awarding 50 First Gen Fellowships of $1,000 (1K)

When? Applications must be submitted by August 29, 2025 by 11:59p.m. Pacific Standard Time

Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Awardees will be contacted directly and announced on National First-Gen Day on November 8, 2025 on Instagram @firstgenfund and on firstgen.org.

Please read before submitting your application.
