Mark R. Krueger Memorial Scholarship

The Mark R. Krueger Memorial Scholarship is open to returning Waubonsee students who have completed at least 30 credit hours and have at least a 2.0 GPA; consideration will be given for community involvement or participation in Waubonsee extracurricular programs as well as for demonstration of leadership and positive impact on others/community. This scholarship is established in honor of Mark Krueger, a 15 year Waubonsee basketball and volleyball announcer. Throughout Mark’s entire 30 year broadcast career, he was committed to showcasing student achievement and outstanding leadership skills. With his passing, Mark’s family desires to continue his legacy of supporting students as they pursue their educational dreams. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
