Gibby Monokoski Memorial Endowed Music Scholarship

The Gibby Monokoski Memorial Endowed Music Scholarship is open to students who have a minimum 2.5 GPA and are pursuing an associate degree in music with a preference for interest in the instrumental area. Financial need will be considered. There is a preference for returning students. This scholarship was established in the name of Gibby Monokoski, Professor Emeritus of Music, by his family at the time of his passing. Gibby devoted his life to forty years of teaching music students at Waubonsee Community College; his love of music and teaching will benefit music students at Waubonsee for many years to come. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
