Fox Valley United Way Scholarship

The Fox Valley United Way Scholarship is open to students majoring in Early Childhood Education who reside in the Fox Valley United Way service area. Preference will be given to students who are bilingual, persons of color, or currently working in an early childhood center. Awards given will be split evenly Kane and Kendall counties. Fox Valley United Way is committed to ensuring that all young children, birth to age five, have equitable access to early childhood resources and education. Investing in the health, education and financial stability of all individuals in our community provides children with a strong foundation to achieve success in school and life. Fox Valley United Way Scholarship has been established to address the teacher shortage in the field of early childhood. We look to support individuals who are pursuing an early childhood degree to ensure that young children are guided, supported and nurtured in their early learning. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
