Aurora Strong First Responders Scholarship

The Aurora Strong First Responders Scholarship is open to students enrolled in Waubonsee’s fire science or EMT/paramedic programs or the criminal justice program with the intent to become a police officer. The Aurora Strong First Responders Scholarship was created by the Waubonsee Community College Foundation in response to the shooting at the Henry Pratt Company in Aurora on February 15, 2019 and in appreciation to all first responders. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
