Educating Youth Scholarship

The Educating Youth Scholarship is open to residents of Yorkville, IL who are graduates of a public or private high school in the Yorkville School District area or have been homeschooled within the United City of Yorkville limits. Applicants must have demonstrated financial need and a minimum 2.5 GPA. Involvement in community/church service projects, extracurricular volunteer activities, service clubs, etc. will be considered. This scholarship was established by the Kiwanis Club of Yorkville Illinois Foundation, a 501©(3) non-profit corporation established in 2018 with the mission of completing service projects that improve the quality of life for children and families worldwide, especially for those children and families located in Yorkville and Kendall County, Illinois. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
