Kathryn Lacy Memorial Scholarship

The Kathryn Lacy Memorial Scholarship is open to non-traditional (over age 25) students from Kane County who are women and have dependents. This scholarship is established in the remembrance of Kathryn Elizabeth Wlezen Lacy. As a friend, colleague, and Mother who always put her heart into helping others first, the purpose of this scholarship is to assist non-traditional female students with dependents who are returning to school to better themselves and the lives of those they care about. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses. The scholarship may be renewed for a second year provided that the recipient remains in good standing with Waubonsee Community College.
