Weldstar Annual Scholarship

The Weldstar Annual Scholarship is open to students who are planning to pursue a career in the welding industry and are welding or business majors. This scholarship was started in 2019 by Weldstar to provide assistance to students in the welding and business programs at Waubonsee Community College. Weldstar is a distributor of welding supplies and industrial gases. Weldstar is headquartered in Aurora, Illinois with eight locations in Illinois and Indiana. Weldstar is committed to supporting the welding industry. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
