WCC Foundation Founders Scholarship

The WCC Foundation Founders Scholarship is open to students who are Waubonsee district residents, have financial need, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. This scholarship was established at the September 9, 2008 Waubonsee Community College Foundation Board meeting to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Waubonsee Community College Foundation and to honor its founders: Richard “Shorty” Dickson, Dr. Edward H. Fauth, Dr. Forest D. Etheredge, Robert J. O’Connor, John A. Sizer and Dale R. Von Ohlen. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
