Harry L. Crisp Scholarship

The Harry L. Crisp Scholarship is open to new students who are Waubonsee district residents, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, and are graduating seniors. The scholarship is renewable for a second academic year provided the recipient maintains at least a 2.5 GPA and good academic standing with the College. This scholarship was established by the Waubonsee Community College Board of Trustees to honor Dr. Harry L. Crisp, former chairman of the Illinois Community College Board. Dr. Crisp has been a strong proponent of the lifelong learning process as well as an advocate for all programs that provide opportunities for students in adult education. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
