Iverson Family Scholarship

This scholarship is open to returning Waubonsee students who are non-traditional age students (over age 25), have financial need, and have a minimum 2.0GPA. Preference will be given to students who are veterans. This scholarship was started in 2021 by Judith Iverson to provide assistance to non-traditional students attending Waubonsee. According to Ms. Iverson, “Waubonsee Community College has provided so many opportunities and benefits to our family that we feel this scholarship is a way to assist others in achieving their goals.” The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
