Holly D. Haberle Memorial Endowed Scholarship

The Holly D. Haberle Memorial Endowed Scholarship is open to students majoring in Education. Preference will be given to women re-entering the workforce. This scholarship was started in 2021 by the Gagliardi-Haberle Family to provide assistance to students pursuing Education programs at Waubonsee Community College. This scholarship was established in memory of Holly D. Haberle, who taught English for many years at Lyons Township High School in La Grange, IL. She further contributed to community education by establishing a scholarship for technical/trade students at Waubonsee Community College in memory of her beloved husband, Paul H. Haberle. With her passing, her family wants to continue her legacy of supporting students as they pursue their dreams of higher education. They have established this scholarship in her name – the Holly D. Haberle Memorial Endowed Scholarship – to support the next generation of teachers. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
