Edward and Frances Fauth Endowed Scholarship

The Edward and Frances Fauth Endowed Scholarship is open to students who are majoring in engineering or nursing and are planning to transfer to a four-year college or university. This scholarship was funded by Dr. Edward H. Fauth, who was involved in Waubonsee Community College from its inception by assisting with the passage of the original referendum that established the College. After a career as an engineer at Barber Greene Company, interrupted by service in the U.S. Army during World War II, he came to work at Waubonsee. He retired as Dean of Community Service in 1987. Mrs. Fauth was a retired nurse and dental assistant who spent many volunteer hours serving her community as well. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
