Dr. William J. and Jane G. Weigel Memorial Scholarship

The Dr. William J. and Jane G. Weigel Memorial Scholarship is open to returning students who have completed 45 credit hours at Waubonsee and have financial need (no parental support). The Dr. William J. and Jane G. Weigel Memorial Scholarship was established by the family following Dr. and Mrs. Weigel’s deaths in 2003 and 2006, respectively. Dr. Weigel gave many years of faithful service to Waubonsee Community College including serving as a Board of Trustees member for 18 years. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
