John M. Leatherbury Memorial Scholarship

The John M. Leatherbury Memorial Scholarship is open to new, nontraditional (over age 25) students who are Waubonsee district residents and high school graduates. This scholarship was established by Teri Leatherbury, a retired longtime Waubonsee Community College administrator, in memory of her husband, John M. Leatherbury. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
