Willa "Sweet" Johnson Memorial Scholarship

The Willa “Sweet” Johnson Memorial Scholarship is open to female minority students who have financial need. Ne’Keisha Stepney, Executive Dean for Business, Technology, and Workforce Education, established this scholarship in 2015 in memory of her aunt, Willa “Sweet” Johnson, who was a driving force and inspiration for her family and community. She encouraged and empowered others to live their best life. This scholarship honors her fearlessness, courage, and profound belief in the power of education. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition and required course fees and may also provide support for required books for credit courses.
