Aurora Chamber of Commerce Career Accelerator Grant

The Aurora Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Quad County Urban League and Waubonsee are offering $250 grants to assist in immediate financial needs that impact a student’s education. Financial needs can include books, gas, childcare, bus passes, train tickets, etc. Only the following certifications qualify for the grant assistance: Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA),  Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Phlebotomy Technician and Manufacturing: CNC Machine Operator, Welding, and the Quad County Urban League CONSTRUCT Academy (pre-construction). Please inquire on application for other short-term healthcare or manufacturing certifications. Available while funding lasts.
