Edward A. Kelley Memorial Scholarship

The Edward A. Kelley Memorial Scholarship is open to returning students who are Waubonsee district residents, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and are criminal justice majors. Friends from the Kane County Chiefs of Police Association, the Elburn Police Department, others in the law enforcement community, and the family of Edward Kelley created this scholarship in his memory. Ed Kelley was the Elburn Chief of Police for several years. Prior to that, he was with the North Aurora Police Department for over 28 years, serving as the chief for 15 of those years. These scholarships are awarded to a criminal justice major with a 3.0 GPA. The scholarship may cover all or part of tuition for credit courses. It may not be used toward books or other fees.
