Waubonsee Community College Foundation Scholarships

Waubonsee Foundation scholarships are designed to support your education at Waubonsee Community College. Please note that these scholarships are specifically for use at Waubonsee and cannot be transferred to other institutions. If you’re excited about attending Waubonsee during the 2025-2026 academic year (Fall 2025 and/or Spring 2026), we encourage you to complete this application!

The Foundation scholarship application is scheduled to open November 1, 2024. Over 300 awards are administered by the Foundation annually, ranging from $250 to $5,000. For consideration, all students are encouraged to apply by:

Priority deadline: February 3, 2025
Final deadline: May 5, 2025

Dr. Lucile Gustafson Scholarship

New graduating in-district seniors wanting to apply for the Gustafson scholarship will need to first complete the Foundation Scholarship application. If eligible, the applicant will receive an additional set of questions for the Gustafson Application, which must be completed by February 3, 2025.

Emergency Needs Fund Scholarship

View the Emergency Needs Fund Scholarship application by selecting “Emergency Needs Fund Scholarship” from the Opportunities drop down menu above.

External Opportunities

View external scholarship opportunities offered by area agencies and organizations by selecting “External” from the Opportunities drop down menu above.

Logging in for the first time:

Current Waubonsee students:

  1. Click on the “Sign Up” button
  2. Click the “Continue with Blackbaud ID” button
  3. Click on the “Continue with Email” link
  4. Enter your Waubonsee student email address and click “Continue”
  5. A message with a confirmation code will be sent to your email account for verification. Enter the confirmation code and click “Next”
  6. Create a password, enter your name, and click the “Sign up” button
  7. Your Blackbaud ID account requires that multi-factor authentication is enabled for your security, so you will be prompted to set up MFA at your next login

New students:

  1. First, submit a New Student Application (NSA): waubonsee.edu/apply. After your form has been processed, you will be assigned a Waubonsee student ID number (x-number). On the next business day, you may begin the scholarship account activation process.
  2. Click on the “Sign Up” button
  3. Click the “Continue with Blackbaud ID” button
  4. Click on the “Continue with Email” link
    If you have never registered for or taken courses at Waubonsee, your username will be the personal email address used to complete your New Student Application
    If you have registered for classes at Waubonsee and/or taken dual credit courses, you have been assigned a Waubonsee student email, which will serve as your username. For assistance, contact foundation@waubonsee.edu or (630) 466-2316
  5. A message with a confirmation code will be sent to your email account for verification. Enter the confirmation code and click “Next”
  6. Create a password, enter your name, and click the “Sign up” button
